Scope of the conference

The IEEE International Conference on Smart Computing and Intelligent Business Technologies (IEEE–SCIBT 2027) focuses on cutting-edge research, innovations, and practical applications at the intersection of smart computing technologies and intelligent business systems. The conference aims to bridge the gap between theoretical advances and real-world deployment, addressing both technological and managerial challenges in the era of digital transformation.

The scope of the conference encompasses the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of intelligent computing systems that enable data-driven decision-making, automation, and sustainable business innovation. Emphasis is placed on Artificial Intelligence–driven solutions, smart digital infrastructures, and secure, scalable, and energy-efficient computing platforms that support modern enterprises, governments, and smart societies.

Submissions & Review

  1. Only selected papers will have the opportunity to be accepted following the review process.
  2. The manuscripts will be reviewed by editorial office, which is working closely with Springer editorial board.
  3. Please note that the evaluation consists of a comprehensive assessment and including, but not limited to, the similarity percentage, detection of any plagiarism or AI-generated content, readability, structural coherence, and a rigorous scientific review conducted by subject-matter experts.
  4. Please be aware that a high similarity percentage, any form of plagiarism, or detected AI-generated content may result in the rejection of individual chapters and/or the complete manuscript. The similarity rate should not exceed 10–15% and no more than 5% from any single source.
  5. Manuscripts may be withdrawn even after acceptance, and signed contracts may be terminated if any violations are detected.
  6. Short papers should contain a minimum of 6 pages without references and include 4,000 words, excluding references and the first page.
  7. Each paper must include a minimum of 10 references and a maximum of 30 references.
  8. Webpage references are not accepted. All references should be relevant to your study and visible by active DOIs or other related identifications.
  9. Self-citations are not allowed, except where appropriate and approved by the Series Editor.
